Marcus “Da Fingaz” Manderson has been recognized as an outstanding musician, music producer, music composer, and audio engineer with over 20 years of experience.
With a music degree from James Madison University, an Audio Production Techniques certification from the Omega Studios’ School of Applied Recording Arts and Sciences, a ProTools certification and a Master of Science in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, it is clear he has a passion for music.
Marcus continues to create music and applies his knowledge of music, engineering, recording, and mixing in both live sound and studio settings. In recent years, Marcus has shifted his production focus from the studio to a more mobile setup, using the iPad as his main production tool.
Currently, Marcus is the Supervisor of AudioVisual Operations at the National Geographic Society in Washington, DC where he has created music for various organizational projects, online advertisements and television ads as well as engineered several live events, including high profile lectures and concerts. He also serves as the Chief Musician at his home church in Virginia.
Marcus has been married to the love of his life for the past 16 years and has two beautiful children.
